Merial Brown

Merial Brown is the Director of Operations at Berkley Select where she manages a team of remote/hybrid employees while leading key projects, enterprise partnership and metric development initiatives. She is also our company’s innovation coordinator, working with different departments to assist with the project management of Berkley Select’s many modernization and efficiency projects. Merial is a seasoned leader with a 30+ year background in insurance operations having worked for carriers including CNA  & Gallagher. Merial is a DEI champion with a strong civic background including involvement in several organizations including being a Mentor for Step Up Women’s Network and a member of NAAIA – the National African American Insurance Association. She is a certified Toastmaster where she formerly led a local Toastmaster’s chapter, receiving a Competent Toastmaster Certificate along with a Leadership Certificate from the WWO Leadership Program. She has a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts & Merchandising Management from the Institute of Art, Design & Technology.
