Nicole Hackney

Nicole Hackney, CIP, ICP, is a Team Leader, Business Operations at Farm Mutual Re, currently on secondment as Executive Support Coordinator. Nicole brings over a decade of experience in the mutual insurance industry, with a diverse background spanning underwriting, training, research and business operations. She is passionate about continuous learning and professional development, both for herself and for emerging insurance professionals. Nicole is a part-time Professor in the Insurance and Risk Management program at Fanshawe College and an Instructor with The Insurance Institute of Canada. She also serves as a council member on the Southwestern Ontario Chapter of the Insurance Institute of Canada. 

With a people-first approach, Nicole is committed to fostering growth, supporting future leaders, and embracing new perspectives. She believes reverse mentorship is a powerful way to break down silos, challenge traditional thinking, and drive meaningful change within the insurance sector.
